Adding Images and Videos to Moments
How do I add images to a Moment?
Go to Create a Moment
In the message area, look for icons in the bottom left
Click the Insert image icon
Select the images you want to upload
Your images will be added to the Moment
How many images can I add?
You can add up to 4 images to a single Moment.
Why is there a 4-image limit?
We believe in the significance of every Moment. Through testing, we found 4 images to be the perfect amount to let people express themselves effectively while ensuring the Moment remains clear and focused.
How do I add videos?
When creating a Moment, look for the Add a video button
It's located next to the image icon
Select your video file to upload
The video will be added to your Moment
Can I add images to comments?
Yes. You can add 1 image within 1 comment on any Moment. This helps you respond visually to Moments when appropriate.
Image and Video Specifications
What image and video sizes work best for Moments?
While Mo will accept any image or video size uploaded to a Moment, the 16:9 ratio ensures your content displays clearly in the feed without awkward cropping or empty space.
Recommended format: We recommend using a 16:9 aspect ratio (ideally 580x326px) for images and widescreen 16:9 ratio for videos for best appearance.

Single images and videos: Content uploaded in 16:9 format will display perfectly in the Mo frame, giving you the best visual presentation.
Multiple Images Display
When posting multiple images to a Moment using 16:9:
2 images: Both images will be condensed to fit side by side
3 images: One image displays condensed and two above each other show full image
4 images: All four images display at full size within the frame
✅ For the best results with multiple images, stick to the 16:9 ratio.
Other aspect ratios can be used but may not fit the frame properly in the feed view, though users can always click to view the full-sized image.
Content Restrictions
Can I use GIFs and Moment cards with images?
No. Generally, you cannot mix any of these media types in a single Moment:
Videos
Images
GIFs
Moment cards
When you select one media type:
All other media options become unavailable
You must choose only one type of visual content per Moment
This ensures your Moments remain easy to read and understand for everyone. Through testing, we found that combinations of different media types can make Moments confusing and difficult to follow.
Can I mix images and videos?
No. You can upload either:
Multiple images (up to 4), OR
Multiple videos
⚠️ Please note: You cannot upload an image and video in the same Moment. You can only upload multiple images or multiple videos.
Can I use gifs and Moments cards with images?
When you add an image to a Moment you won't be able to add gifs or use Moment cards. Likewise, if you add a gif or use a Moment card the button to add images will be disabled.
We want to make sure your Moments are easy to read for everyone, we found through testing that combinations of these can make it difficult.
How do I remove an image I've shared?
You won't be able to delete an individual image from a Moment that has already been sent, you will need to delete the whole Moment. To delete a Moment, find your Moment in the feed, click on the three dots near the bottom right and select 'delete message'.
⌛️ Important timing: There's a 10-minute delay between sending a Moment and recipients being notified. If you delete after this period, people may have already seen the content.
