Use Group Mapping to connect UKG Beacon (Mo) groups with Ready cost centers levels. This helps organise employees in Beacon using Ready data and keeps mapped group values aligned when cost center data changes.

What Group Mapping Does

Group Mapping allows you to link:

  • a UKG Beacon (Mo) Group, and/or

  • a Ready Cost Center

  • This mapping supports organisational alignment between Ready and Beacon.

  • If a Ready cost center is mapped to a Beacon group, updates made to that cost centre are automatically reflected in UKG Beacon (Mo).

  • One or both fields can be left blank, depending on the client’s setup.

  • Multiple groups and cost centres can be added.

Group Mapping Fields

UKG Beacon (Mo) Group

The UKG Beacon (Mo) site contains groups to help organise people.

Groups allow users to:

  • filter feeds

  • find colleagues

  • share Moments with specific groups

  • support more meaningful analytics

Choose the applicable Beacon group to map to the Ready cost centre, if needed.

Examples of groups may include:

  • Department

  • Organisational Area

  • Location

  • Other client-defined group structures

Ready Cost Center

Choose the applicable Ready cost center level that represents the organisational structure, such as:

  • Department

  • Organisational Area

  • Location

  • Other mapped hierarchy levels

The cost center is commonly mapped to the Beacon group.

If a cost centre is mapped to a group, updates to that cost center are automatically updated in UKG Beacon (Mo).
