How to Submit a Nomination

Simple steps to nominate individuals or teams

Submit nominations to recognise colleagues' outstanding contributions during active nomination periods.

โš ๏ธ Note: If you don't see nominations in Mo, your organisation may not have this feature activated. Contact Mo support if you believe this is an error.

Finding Available Nominations

  1. Go to the Nominations section in Mo

  2. Look for the Submissions tab

  3. View all nominations awaiting your response

For each nomination, you'll see:

  • Nomination details and requirements

  • How many times you've already submitted

  • Remaining submission opportunities

  • Time left to submit


How to Submit a Nomination

Step 1: Select Your Nomination

  1. Choose the nomination you want to submit

  2. Click Nominate now

Step 2: Choose Your Nominee(s)

For Individual Nominations:

  • Select one person from the list

For Team Nominations (if available):

  • Select multiple people

  • The form will automatically change to team format

  • Add a team name when prompted

Step 3: Complete Your Submission

  1. Select your nominee(s) from the available options

  2. Write your reason for nominating them

  3. Provide detailed information about why they deserve recognition

  4. Click Submit

Tip: Give as much detail as possible - stronger explanations make better nominations.

Step 4: Confirmation

After submitting, you'll receive confirmation that your nomination was successful.

Individual vs Team Nominations

Individual Nominations:

  • Select one person

  • Focus on their specific contributions

  • Explain their individual impact

Team Nominations:

  • Select multiple people

  • Provide a team name

  • Explain the group's collective achievement

  • Detail how they worked together

Submission Limits

  • Each nomination may have submission limits

  • Check how many times you can nominate for each award

  • View your remaining opportunities in the Submissions tab

  • Submit before the deadline expires


After Nominations Close

Announcements Tab

When the nomination period ends and winners are announced:

  • Results appear in the Announcements tab within the Nominations section

  • Winners are clearly displayed with their achievements

  • All participants can see the final results

Reading Your Nominations

Whether you win or not, you can read all the nominations submitted about you:

  • Access your nominations through the Announcements tab

  • See all the great things colleagues said about your work

  • View the detailed reasons why people nominated you

  • Keep these as a record of your recognition and impact

This feedback is valuable for understanding how colleagues perceive your contributions, even if you don't win the award.


Best Practices

Be specific: Describe exactly what the person or team accomplished

Provide context: Explain the impact of their work

Use examples: Include specific situations or projects

Be thorough: More detailed nominations are stronger nominations


Troubleshooting

Can't see any nominations?

  • Check that your organisation has nominations activated

  • Verify there are active nomination periods

Submission button not working?

  • Check you haven't reached your submission limit

  • Ensure the nomination period is still active

  • Try refreshing the page

Form not loading properly?

  • Clear your browser cache

  • Try a different browser

  • Contact support if issues persist
