Understanding Nomination Announcements

What Announcing Nominees Does

When you announce nominees:

  • ✅ Nominees receive an email notification

  • ✅ They can view all submissions written about them in the app

  • ✅ Recognition happens before winners are selected

  • ✅ Everyone nominated feels appreciated

Why Announce Nominees Separately

Announcing nominees before selecting winners:

  • ✅ Provides recognition to everyone nominated

  • ✅ Allows nominees to read meaningful feedback

  • ✅ Creates a positive experience regardless of winning

  • ✅ Builds anticipation for winner announcement

  • ✅ Celebrates broader contributions

Best Practice: Many colleagues value reading heartfelt submissions about them more than winning. Announcing nominees ensures everyone nominated receives recognition.
