Occasions in Mo make it easier than ever to celebrate your colleagues’ special moments with them! πŸŽ‰ By default, Mo shows birthdays, work anniversaries and first days on the home page, for everyone to interact with!

Adding a User's Occasion to their Profile

To add a colleague's birthday or work anniversary to their profile, head to Manage organisation > Users. Find the user, click the three dots and select Edit.

You'll be taken to the user's account, where you will be able to add their Date of birth and their Company start date!

Note - to edit users, you will need to have the Admin permission in Mo.

Occasions on the Home Page

Once users have had their occasions added to their accounts, there are 3 different notifications Mo will display:

  • A user's birthday πŸŽ‚

  • A user's first day πŸ‘‹

  • A user's work anniversary πŸŽ‰

Colleagues will be able to click the '+' next to the occasion, and celebrate with a Moment!

You'll also be able to view any upcoming occasions in the Colleagues page:

Email Notifications

When a colleague is celebrating their special occasion, their team and team leaders will be notified by email. An email such as the one below will be sent when a colleague is celebrating their work anniversary or birthday.

And an email such as the one below πŸ‘‡ , will be sent when a new colleague joins your team!

Occasion Preferences 🀫

But don't worry, we understand that not everyone wants to share their special occasions, so it's perfectly ok for you to opt-out.

To hide your occasions, head to your Profile, press "Edit profile" and simply turn "Visible to colleagues on Mo" off.

Once switched off, your colleagues will no longer be notified of your special day.
