Troubleshooting

"Add to Slack" Button Not Working

Possible causes:

  • Pop-up blocker preventing authorisation window

  • Browser security settings blocking redirect

  • Insufficient permissions in Mo or Slack

Solutions:

  • Disable pop-up blocker for mo.work domain

  • Try different browser

  • Verify admin permissions in both systems

  • Clear browser cache and retry

Authorisation Fails in Slack

Check these factors:

  • You have Slack admin permissions

  • Workspace allows app installations

  • No conflicting app policies in Slack

  • Network/firewall not blocking connection

Resolution steps:

  • Confirm admin role in Slack workspace settings

  • Review Slack workspace app approval policies

  • Contact Slack workspace owner if needed

  • Check with IT about firewall restrictions

Integration Shows as Connected but Mo Not Visible in Slack

Possible issues:

  • Integration connected to wrong workspace

  • Slack app directory not updated yet

  • User permissions restricting app visibility

Solutions:

  • Verify correct Slack workspace was selected during setup

  • Wait a few minutes and refresh Slack

  • Check Slack workspace app settings

  • Review user permission policies in Slack

Users Can't Find Mo App

Common causes:

  • App not properly installed in workspace

  • Workspace settings restrict app discovery

  • Specific user groups blocked from apps

Resolution:

  • Confirm integration completed successfully

  • Check Slack workspace app management settings
