Archiving a Challenge

What Archiving Does

When you archive a challenge:

  • The challenge is hidden from colleagues

  • Colleagues can no longer submit ideas or engage with it

  • The challenge remains in your archived list

  • You can unarchive it if needed

When to Archive

Archive a challenge when:

  • The submission deadline has passed

  • You've made decisions on submitted ideas

  • The challenge is no longer relevant

  • You want to close it to new ideas

How to Archive

  1. Go to Ideas in the sidebar

  2. Click Manage

  3. Find your challenge

  4. Click Archive

The challenge is now archived.

Unarchiving a Challenge

How to Unarchive

If you archived a challenge by mistake or need to reopen it:

  1. Go to Ideas in the sidebar

  2. Click Manage

  3. Find your archived challenge

  4. Click Unarchive

The challenge is now active again and visible to colleagues.

Best Practices

Edit challenges:

  • Before many ideas are submitted

  • When clarification is needed

  • To extend deadlines if participation is low

Archive challenges:

  • After reviewing all submitted ideas

  • When the challenge period ends

  • To keep your challenge list organised

Don't delete:

  • Archiving preserves challenge history

  • You can always unarchive if needed

  • Submitted ideas remain accessible
