Possible Errors 🤦♀️
When uploading CSV data, you may encounter some errors. These errors will occur when Mo doesn't recognise the data in your uploaded file. But don't worry, these errors are easily corrected once identified!
We've listed some of our most common errors below:
You've entered the same user information more than once. Mo doesn't permit duplicate accounts.
You've set someone as their own manager or
The user you've marked as TRUE in the managers column, doesn't have manager permissions in Mo. Find out how to give someone Manager permissions here.
A user is missing an external-uid (a unique employee ID) in their Mo account. Contact us if you see this error and we'll add that it.
Missing required fields
Some required fields have not been filled in.
Your data has not saved as a CSV file (the name of your file should end with .csv).
Incorrect date formatting
Occasions must be in the YYYY-MM-DD format to be recognised
You've changed the headings in your data to ones that Mo doesn't recognise.

Can I upload new employee information only?
Yes! Only include these users in your data upload and take care not to tick "suspend non included users" as this will remove every one else in your company from Mo.
Can I update existing user information only?
Yes! Only include these users in your data upload and fill the fields out with updated information. Again, take care not to suspend everyone else.
Can I upload new employee information AND update existing user information at the same time?
Yes! Simply include every user and fill the fields out accordingly.
How can I remove user data in bulk?
Upload your employee data again, leaving the field you want to delete blank. This will remove the information in that field from Mo e.g. if you want to delete every user's birthday from Mo, upload your employee data and leave the occasions-birthdays column empty.
