Set Up Mo in Microsoft Teams - User Guide

Connect your personal Mo account to Microsoft Teams in 2 simple steps

Before You Start

  • Ensure your organisation has enabled Mo for Microsoft Teams

  • You'll need an active Mo account

  • Have Microsoft Teams installed and accessible

Watch the setup process in action. This video demonstrates how quick and easy it is to connect your Mo account to Microsoft Teams.

Step 1: Find and Add the Mo App in Teams

Option A: From "Built for your org" section

  1. Open Microsoft Teams

  2. Click Apps in the left sidebar

  3. Look for the Built for your org section

  4. Click on the Mo app tile if visible

  5. Click Open to add the app

Option B: Search for Mo app

  1. Open Microsoft Teams

  2. Click Apps in the left sidebar

  3. If Mo isn't in "Built for your org", click See all

  4. Search for Mo in the app list

  5. Click on the Mo app tile

  6. Click Open to add the app

Result: The Mo Bot will open in a new chat with you.

Step 2: Link Your Mo Account

Once the Mo Bot chat opens:

If you're already logged into Mo:

  1. Click the Link Account button in the Mo Bot chat

  2. Your accounts will link automatically

  3. You'll see a confirmation message

If you're not logged into Mo:

  1. Click the Link Account button in the Mo Bot chat

  2. You'll be directed to log into your Mo account

  3. Complete the Mo login process

  4. Your accounts will link automatically

  5. You'll see a confirmation message

Confirmation of Setup

After successful linking, you'll receive:

  • A confirmation message in the Mo Bot chat

  • Access to Mo notifications within Teams

  • Ability to interact with Mo features through Teams

Troubleshooting

Can't find the Mo app in Teams?

  • Check that your organisation has enabled Mo for Teams

  • Contact your IT administrator for app availability

Link button not working?

  • Ensure you have an active Mo account

  • Try logging into Mo in a separate browser tab first

  • Contact Mo support if issues persist

Already linked but not receiving notifications?

  • Check your notification settings in both Mo and Teams

  • Verify your account linking status in the Mo Bot chat
